Based on the Ford F-550, the $395,000 USD (starting) Atlas APC Civilian Edition is an armored truck that you can drive around on the streets legally in all 50 states. It boasts B6 ballistics protection that can withstand high-velocity rounds from weapons such as AK-47s, handguns, shotguns and assault rifles.
Since each Atlas APC is built-to-order, the interior can be configured a number of ways including individual leather-upholstered seats or two benches to maximize space, all with a 3,306 pound payload capacity. Power comes from a 6.7L Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel Engine generating 330 hp and 750 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Optional equipment includes EMP shielding, run-flat tires, a siren/PA system, 3″ ballistic window glass, and enhanced protection for the engine / radiator.
