Smartglasses can get a bit pricey, but what if there was a way to turn any pair of glasses into smartglasses for under $25? Introducing Open Glass AI. You will need some technical know how to get everything pieced together.
There are three main components that you’ll need: a Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32 S3 Sense single board computer, an EEMB LP502030 3.7v 250mAH battery, and a 3D-printed glasses mount case. Depending on where these parts are sourced, the total build cost may come in slightly more than $25. Some of the technical steps include setting up Arduino IDE for the XIAO ESP32S3 board, which involves adding the ESP32 board package. Interested? Check out the Github here.
