Finally, after numerous delays, Apple has officially approved Turing Software’s UTM SE Retro PC Emulator app for iPhone, iPad and Vision Pro. Users will be able to run both classic software as well as old-school games, all the while supporting VGA mode for graphics and terminal mode for text-only operating systems.
UTM SE emulates x86, PPC, and RISC-V architectures. You can either run pre-built machines or create your own configuration from scratch. It’s built atop QEMU, a powerful and widely used emulator.
