At first glance, this looks like a tuned Nissan Silvia S14, but upon closer inspection, you’ll realize it has the body shape of a Ferrari 456. You won’t find the original 5.5L V12 either, as it has been replaced with a Mazda rotary engine.
How did this project come about? An engineer from New Zealand stumbled upon a totaled Ferrari 456 GT in a field with major front-end damage, so he picked it up for $900 USD. He then installed a naturally-aspirated Mazda 13B rotary engine between the Ferrari’s shock towers, and the total cost for this project totaled just $7,800.

The Nissan trick for Ferrari is the secret Ferrari tried to keep very close by announcing through publicity that Ferrari will sue owners who will modify their car. But the truth is as long as you don’t deface their beautiful badges legally they can not touch you. They just do not want people like aftermarket businesses creating and selling mods that will be a fraction of the prices that Ferrari charges for standard spare parts,” said one fan.
