This Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion remake in Unreal Engine 5 gives the 2006 game a much needed graphical update, and running it on an NVIDIA RTX 5090 shows just how good the game can look. It was first released on Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360 in 2006, followed by PlayStation 3 in 2007, with all versions taking place within the fictional province of Cyrodiil.
Just like previous Elder Scrolls games, this one continues the open-world tradition by allowing the player to travel anywhere in the game world at any time and to ignore or postpone the main storyline indefinitely. Unfortunately, this non-playable tech demo doesn’t show us how players can improve their character’s skills.
