Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier shared on Bluesky that Rockstar insiders never thought fall 2025 was doable because of the huge workload and a push to avoid overworking staff, making a 2026 release “unavoidable for months.” Other reports note Rockstar’s focus on perfecting the game to meet high expectations, especially since GTA 6 is expected to make billions and have a big cultural impact.
