Pixar fans rejoice! The LEGO Ideas Pixar Luxo Jr. collectible set (21357) has 613 pieces and features a posable Luxo Jr. lamp, the iconic Pixar mascot from the 1986 short film and Pixar’s logo sequence. The set also includes the signature Luxo ball with its red star design.

The lamp is made to be flexible, so you can move and pose it in different ways to copy its fun, playful actions, and it can be built and shown in various styles. Aimed at people 18 and up, this set is sold as both a display item and a fun building project, perfect for Pixar fans and collectors. It’s known for looking just like the lamp in the movie, with joints for posing and a fairly small size, making it more affordable than bigger LEGO Ideas sets.
- ANIMATE YOUR MEMORIES – Adults, ages 18 and up, can recreate playful Luxo Jr., the iconic lamp character from Disney Pixar's 1986 animated short...
- LEGO IDEAS EXCLUSIVE – A fan-designed set created by the LEGO community, voted for by passionate fans and produced by the LEGO Group
- FULLY POSEABLE MOVIE ICON – An intricate, articulated design helps builders recreate Luxo Jr.'s unique bouncing, hopping, and rotating movements

This project hit some delays during the LEGO Ideas review because of possible licensing problems with the Luxo brand (the real lamp company that inspired Pixar’s character). LEGO gave it the green light in September 2024 after extra review, making sure all legal issues were sorted out.

Plus, fans will be delighted to know that the Pixar ball even opens up to reveal hidden easter eggs inspired by popular Disney and Pixar movies including Up, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Monsters, Inc. Toy Story and Finding Nemo. The set is planned to come out on June 1, 2025, for $69.99 USD. You can pre-order it through the LEGO Store and Amazon.
I’m a huge fan of all the Pixar films, which were a big part of my childhood and Luxo Jr. is the mascot that perfectly sums up my love for these movies. I spent a lot of time looking at photos of Luxo Jr. to make my model as screen-accurate and recognisable as possible,” said Toby Brett, London-based LEGO fan who designed the set.
