There’s the Ascento 2 robot, and then this Pixar x Porsche 911 Sally Special that will be auctioned off at Monterey Car Week by RM Sotheby’s on August 20th. This project all started back in November 2021 when the original Cars team that brought both the film character and life-size Sally Carrera to life more than 20 years ago joined forces with the automaker.
The vehicle features a bespoke ‘Sally Blue Metallic’ paint job, custom five-spoke wheels modeled after Sally’s 18-inch 996 Turbo rims, special blue accents on the interior, and an inscription that reads ‘Sally Special 001/001’ to denote its one-of-a-kind status. However, 911 Sally Special isn’t just a show car, it’s meant to be driven often and the Pepita houndstooth fabric upholstery in three colours, combined with chalk-coloured leather as well as stitching in Speed Blue, ensure you do it in style.
