The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge was officially revealed today during a virtual Galaxy Unpacked event. Now that it’s announced, we have confirmed details that clear up or add to earlier rumors and leaks.
The Galaxy S25 Edge starts at $1,099 for the 256GB model, with the 512GB version at $1,199. This makes it pricier than the Galaxy S25 Plus ($999) but cheaper than the S25 Ultra ($1,299). Samsung offers a free storage upgrade (512GB for the 256GB price, saving $100) for pre-orders from their store, plus a $50 credit for those who register for an account.

It’s super thin at 5.8mm, weighs 163g, and has a titanium frame with Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 on the front and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the back. The SIM tray, USB-C port, microphone, and speaker are off-center because of the slim design, which might look a bit odd. It comes in three colors at launch: Titanium Jetblack, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Icy Blue, with no brighter options.
The phone has a dual rear camera system: a 200MP f/1.7 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide with a 120-degree view (no OIS). The front camera is 12MP f/2.2. The 200MP main camera is the same as the S25 Ultra’s, and Galaxy AI boosts photos with features like object recognition and smart editing.

Because of its slim design, it has a 3,900mAh battery, smaller than the S25’s 4,000mAh and S25 Plus’s 4,900mAh. It supports 25W wired charging but is only “Qi2-ready,” needing a special case or mod for full Qi2 wireless charging.

Other confirmed features include a 6.7-inch QHD+ (1440 x 3120) Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 12GB RAM, and 256GB or 512GB of storage.

Pre-orders have started worldwide, with open sales beginning May 23, 2025. The phone will be available in major markets like the US, South Korea, China, and Europe by late May.
