Officially set for release on April 16th, 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 will feature Keanu Reeves as revealed by the actor himself at E3 2019 today. For those who don’t already know this title was adapted from the 1988 tabletop game Cyberpunk 2020 and is set fifty-seven years later in dystopian Night City, California, an open world with six distinct regions. Players assume the role of mercenary V who can reach prominence in three character classes by applying experience points to stat upgrades. The open world metropolis Night City, California consists of six regions: the corporate City Center, immigrant-inhabited Watson, luxurious Westbrook, suburban Heywood, gang-infested Pacifica, and industrial Santo Domingo. V explores these locations on foot and in vehicles, which are fully customizable and subject to either a first or third-person view. Plus, autonomous cars allow V to focus on combat instead of driving while engaging in gunplay, and like in the GTA series, pedestrians can also be run over.
