Coleco Industries released the Colecovision in August, 1982 — with a total of 10 launch titles. By the Christmas of 1982, Coleco had already sold over 500,000 units, mainly due to its bundled game. It featured a Zilog Z80A @ 3.58 MHz processor, Texas Instruments TMS9928A video processor, Texas Instruments SN76489A sound chip, 16KB of VRAM, and 1KB of RAM. Videos after the jump.

Sales quickly passed one million in early 1983, before the video game crash of 1983. The ColecoVision was discontinued in the spring of 1984. Even with its late difficulties, the ColecoVision still sold more than six million units
