What if you could unblur a background or remove objects seamlessly without having to use any special masking tools? Meet Adobe Project Stardust. This revolutionary AI photo editing tool was teased during the company’s MAX 2023 conference and has the ability to identify individual objects in just about any photo, along with their associated shadows.
Users can also enter prompts that they would like for Stardust’s AI to generate, whether it be black jeans for someone or flowers to replace something else. Auto-masking, color correction and generative synthesis are standard features, while users can also manually select objects in photos by simply clicking on them. Project Stardust then automatically identifies the borders of the object and automatically masks it. There’s no word yet on when Project Stardust will be released to the public.
