Adobe’s “VoCo” is essentially Photoshop for audio, as it enables one to take an audio recording and instantly alter it to include words or phrases the original speaker never said, in what sounds like their voice.
At a live demo in San Diego, Adobe took a digitzsed recording of Jordan Peele saying “and I kissed my dogs and my wife” and changed it to say “and I kissed Jordan three times”. The edit took just seconds and only required the operator to type over a transcript of the speech and then press a button to create the altered voice track.
