While this full-electric DeLorean DMC-12 EV can’t go back in time, this modified vehicle does have a top speed of 125 mph and can do 0-60 in 4.8-seconds, thanks to a battery-powered motor that pumps out 215 kilowatts. It has a 100-mile range under normal driving conditions, and needs just 3-hours of charging to get you back on the road when power runs low. “The inside’s been given a modern makeover too, with the gear-shift stick replaced with a control dial. There are three buttons to open the gull-wing doors and a sat-nav. The DeLorean Motor Company — which isn’t associated with the now-bust original manufacturer, but uses the same name — is working on a follow-up prototype, with a focus on better range and increased power,” according to CNET.
