An all-new Apple Mac Mini with the M2 and M2 processors have been announced, starting at just $599 USD. The base model with the M2 boasts an 8-core CPU with four high-performance and four high-efficiency cores, along with a 10-core GPU. When combined with 24GB of unified memory and 100GB/s of bandwidth, content creation is up to 50% faster than its predecessor.
The Mac Mini with M2 Pro features up to a 12-core CPU with eight high-performance cores and four high-efficiency cores, along with up to a 19-core GPU. It provides 200GB/s of memory bandwidth and support for up to 32GB of RAM. As for ports, the M2 model sports two Thunderbolt 4 ports and support for up to two displays, while the M2 Pro model includes four Thunderbolt 4 ports as well as support for up to three displays (8K included). Both models feature Wi-Fi 6E for up to 2x faster throughput than before and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. Available for pre-order today, with deliveries beginning on January 24th.
