Let’s face it, the Apple Vision Pro is just too expensive for most consumers, but we expect a lower priced version to be released as soon as next year. Aside from the price, there’s just not enough software out to justify spending $3,500 on the mixed-reality headset.
Reddit user Jesser72 came up with the Lifeskin concept, which basically transforms the world around you at the virtual press of a button, whether it be turning the Santa Monica Boardwalk into a Titanic-inspired scene or something straight from the upcoming Minecraft movie. There’s no word yet on if they plan on submitting this app, but they did mention that it would work on the Oculus Quest 3 as well.
