It’s finally here, Apple Vision Pro gets the long awaited Mac Virtual Display in the visionOS 2.2 developer beta. This feature lets users make use of an expandable, ultra-wide, wrap around screen, creating the equivalent of having two 4K displays sitting side by side.
After installing the visionOS 2.2 developer beta, you’ll see the option for screen modes: “normal,” “wide,” and “ultra-wide.” For those who only want a slightly curved 21:9 aspect ratio monitor, choose wide. However, ultra-wide lets you open three full Chrome windows side-by-side, while games such as Baldur’s Gate III completely immerse you. Have an Apple Vision Pro and want to try it out?
