Think of ASUS Project Dali as a laptop and reading tablet in one, as it sports a 12″ E-ink screen on its lid with a resolution of 1600 x 1200. One caveat: this second screen can only display 6 colors, but it can generate other shades by mixing various hues.
Technical specifications for Project Dali have not been released, but we do know that the E-ink screen is based on the Spectra 6 full color display. This screen is optimized for up to 200 pixels per inch (PPI) and features a contrast ratio of 30:1, along with an operating range of 0-50 degrees Celsius. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced.
