Is an all-electric Audi RS e-tron GT Performance fast enough to beat a Ducati Panigale V4S superbike? That is the question CarWow wondered before they took both vehicles to a drag strip to duke it out.
The 5,280 pound Audi RS e-tron GT Performance packs a pair of electric motors that can generate up to 912 hp when Launch Control briefly use resources from the HV battery and 757 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to hit 62 mph in just 2.5 seconds. As for the 412 pound (dry) Ducati Panigale V4S superbike, it’s powered by a Desmosedici Stradale 90° V4, liquid-cooled, 16-valve engine generating 210 hp and 90.6 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox with Ducati Quick Shift (DQS).

Also, this won’t even be the fastest Ducati Panigale V4. Ducati always comes out with V4R and Superleggera models that are even faster! It looks like the motorcycle rider in this video was using the “slingshot” maneuver, which means he was piggy-backing off of the car’s aerodynamics so he could experience a lower amount of wind resistance.
