Bahnof’s – a Swedish ISP – main data center is located in central Stockholm, but what really sets “Pionen White Mountains” apart is that it’s located 30 meters under the granite rocks of the Vita Berg Park in Stockholm. This was a former nuclear bunker during the Cold War, and it took more than two years to blast the 141,000 cubic feet of extra space required fit its backup generators and server racks into the caves.
