Bigscreen Beyond 2 takes virtual reality to the next level, and weighs just 107g. Featuring dual 1″ (2,560 × 2,560) screens with new pancake lenses that boost FOV to a 116-degree diagonal, a big improvement over the original’s 102-degrees.
Its new pancake lenses also boast dramatic improvements over its predecessor with total edge-to-edge clarity and a very large sweet spot. All of the Beyond 1’s accessories are compatible with this new model, including the five-meter fiver optic cable, link box, Audio Strap, and soft strap. Both the Beyond 2 ($1,019) and Beyond 2e ($1,219) are launching this summer.

IMO weight is one of the most important things about a vr headset. I would take a headset that has worse screens/framerate/fov over one that constantly hurts my face and is cumbersome any day. Unfortunately the extremely high price tag is a large barrier to entry but I think they have the right approach,” said one commenter.
