New Spot Mini

Google may have sold their robotics company Boston Dyanmics to Softbank, but their latest project is definitely no slouch. This redesigned Spot Mini robot can now open doors, in addition to performing basic tasks. For those who haven’t seen or heard about this robot, it’s all-electric and can go for about 90 minutes on a charge, depending on what it’s doing. It has the ability to pick up and handle objects using its 5 degree-of-freedom arm and perception sensors, which includes stereo cameras, depth cameras, an IMU, and position/force sensors in the limbs.
