Devolver Digital Carrion

Game studio Devolver Digital has revealed “Carrion” at E3 2019, and it’s an innovative “reverse-horror” platformer with a pixel-art aesthetic. It’s being developed by Warsaw’s Phobia Game Studio, and will arrive on PC as well as consoles during 2020. Players assume the role of an amorphous creature of unknown origin, in which they’ll be able to stalk and consume those that imprisoned you to spread fear and panic throughout the facility. The creature grows and evolves as you tear down this prison and acquire more and more devastating abilities on the path to retribution. Let’s face it, there are far less supercars powered by naturally-aspirated engines than ever before, so it’s always refreshing to see somethinng like this Ferrari Aliante Barchetta concept by industrial designer Daniel Soriano drawing power from a Flat-12 engine, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Cyberpunk 2077 Keanu Reeves

Officially set for release on April 16th, 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 will feature Keanu Reeves as revealed by the actor himself at E3 2019 today. For those who don’t already know this title was adapted from the 1988 tabletop game Cyberpunk 2020 and is set fifty-seven years later in dystopian Night City, California, an open world with six distinct regions. Players assume the role of mercenary V who can reach prominence in three character classes by applying experience points to stat upgrades. Unfortunately, the roof scoop is just purely for aesthetics purposes, and not used to cool its monstrous 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16 engine. Jeff Bezos HaptX Robot

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos demonstrated HaptX’s robot gloves at the re:MARS conference last week. Simply put as possible, this haptic telerobot can be used to manipulate a pair of robotic arms and finely control objects, like a Rubik’s Cube. In this demonstration, he can be seen moving a ball back and forth between hands as well as placing plastic rings around a rung. HaptX plans to integrate this technology into virtual reality applications, such as training software in medicine, aerospace, and first response to life.

Microsoft officially launched its Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription today ahead of the company’s E3 press conference. At $14.99 per month, users gain access to Xbox Live Gold as well as Xbox Game Pass for both Xbox and PC. How good of a deal is Ultimate? Stallone T-800 Terminator 2

Another day, another deepfake, and this one shows Terminator 2’s T-800 in an entirely new light. Originally played by Arnold Schwarzenegger, this deepfake swaps in Sylvester Stallone’s head for the main character and strangeness ensues. This became such a hit on social media that Stallone even reposted the clip on Instagram with the caption: “This is what a Terminator would look like if he was built from spaghetti and pizza!” It was created by a YouTuber who goes by “Ctrl Shift Face”, the same user behind the Bill Hader and Al Pacino swap a few weeks back. Powered by a quad-turbocharged 28-liter Cummins engine that produces 900 horsepower and 4,000 foot-pounds of torque, it took approximately seven years of work to complete, starting from an old rusty cab and into the amazing creation you see now. Best of all, it’s completely road-legal.
