Deepfake AI Bill Hader Pacino Schwarzenegger

Just when you thought deepfakes couldn’t get any creepier (or cooler), new videos have popped up transforming comedian / actor Bill Hader into Al Pacino and Arnold Schwarzenegger. For those who don’t know what a deepfake is, this basically refers to a technique for human image synthesis based on artificial intelligence. It’s used to combine and superimpose existing images and videos onto source images or videos using a machine learning technique called a “generative adversarial network” (GAN). “The video, produced by a deepfake creator known as Ctrl Shift Face, has already been viewed more than 300,000 times on YouTube alone. The clip shows Hader during a 2014 interview with late-night talk show host Conan O’Brien doing his best impression of the former California governor,” reports The Daily Dot.
