ClassiCube Minecraft Clone SEGA Dreamcast
Playing ClassiCube, a Minecraft clone, on the SEGA Dreamcast is an interesting experience to say the least. Technically speaking, the port is based on the KallistiOS (BSD licensed) SDK and GLdc (BSD2 licensed) rendering library, but plays just like the actual game.

Michael MJD takes a deep dive into this port, showing us everything from Dream Pi connecting to the internet via the Dreamcast’s modem to some offline play. For those wondering, ClassiCube does support the console’s keyboard and mouse, as using the controller is a bit cumbersome. Before attempting to connect to ClassiCube for online play, make sure the system time is correct, otherwise you’ll just get an error.
