Called “RoboBee”, this tiny bee-sized spy drone weighs just 80 milligram and is equipped with a pair of buzzing wings that flap 120-times-per-second. According to The Daily Mail: “In the tests, scientists controlling the RoboBee via a wire tether made it take off, hover, and change direction. Potential future uses include search and rescue, surveillance, and environmental monitoring applications – and even taking the place of real bees to pollinate crops.”
