Situated in a small side street, this unique Tokyo home measures 914 square-feet and is made almost entirely of glass. It’s called the “NA House” – designed by Sou Fujimoto Architects – and the various floors are linked together with traditional stairs as well as ladders.
Sure, there doesn’t appear to be much privacy, but we imagine some pull down curtains, or even better, smart glass windows that can change transparency at the push of a button, should solve that issue. The biggest issue would be how durable these glass panels actually are, as a burglar could simply break them with a hammer.
