Crumbl partnered with Minecraft for its first character license and put six square desserts on the menu for a single week. Treats inspired by mobs, blocks, and biomes are on sale at participating shops in the United States and Canada from today, August 31, through September 5, with in-app pre-orders having opened a day earlier. Every item is baked as a four-sided block, then finished with a non-edible Minecraft figure you lift off before the first bite.
Grass Block Cake has to be the most literal out-of-the-box take you can get. Cinnamon vanilla cake is covered in a chocolate crumb streusel and cinnamon brown sugar, followed by a layer of brown cream cheese frosting and, for the finishing touch, a coat of grass textured icing to resemble a lawn laying on dirt. Unsurprisingly, a little Minecraft topper peeks out of that icing lawn. Creeper Key Lime Sandwich consists of two lime cookies stacked on top of each other, lime icing slathered between, green sprinkles wrapped around the sides, and a creeper thrown on top for good measure. Lemon Poppyseed Cookie is a simple yet delicious combination of lemony flavors, featuring a lemon poppyseed base, a dollop of lemon curd, lemon buttercream, and a bee to sweeten things up.
- BUILD THE DREADED CREEPER – Young explorers, ages 10 and up, build a large poseable version of the iconic Minecraft mob
- MINECRAFT ACTION FIGURE – Kids construct every detail of the Creeper, from its 4 poseable legs to its detachable head
- HIDDEN SURPRISE INSIDE – Builders can remove the Creeper's head to reveal a compartment that hides a first-version Creeper minifigure and TNT...
Cookies & Cream Sandwich packs a lot of fun into its design, with a layer of purple marshmallow mousse full of brownie and cookies & cream crumbs sandwiched between two chocolate cookies & cream squares, and an Enderman sitting on top. Cherry Blossom Cookie whips maraschino cherries into a pink dough, then tops it with a cherry cream cheese frosting blended with cherry puree, scatters some cookie crumbs around, and adds a small pig for good measure. Cookie Butter Cookie begins with a spiced, marbled cookie-butter square, which is then topped with melted cookie butter, a dollop of cinnamon vanilla buttercream and cookie butter icing, a sprinkle of cookie butter crumbs, and a chicken to finish.

The U.S. boxes have a fairly unique design that looks like earth blocks from the game. If you’re one of the first 200 people to buy a Minecraft 6-pack on launch day, you’ll receive a Launch Day Exclusive spoon, while the first 200 people to pre-order will receive an in-store Mystery Spoon in their 6-pack; a 12-pack includes two of these, and four designs rotate at random: diamond sword, wooden shovel, golden ax, and iron pickaxe. Oh, and don’t forget to read the fine print, because pre-orders will not include a spoon.

We’re just talking about a seven-day run here, with square cake, square sandwiches, square cookies, a plastic crowd on top, and a very small window. If you want a Creeper lime sandwich or a grass-block cake, now is your chance, and it’s only available at participating Crumbl locations between August 31 and September 5.
