Nicolas Mee & Co, an Aston Martin Heritage Dealer from West London has unveiled the world’s smallest functional Aston Martin: the DB Junior. It’s inspired by the legendary Aston Martin DB models of the 1960s and boasts composite coachwork sitting on a sturdy steel box-section chassis, leather or vinyl seats, a wood-rimmed steering wheel and hydraulic disc brakes.
This vehicle is approximately half the size of a normal car, measuring 98.4″ in length and 40.5″ wide, powered by a 110cc, four-stroke petrol engine with key-operated electric start, mated to a 3-speed semi-automatic gearbox. It has a top speed is 46 mph, but it can be restricted downwards, complete with Brembo disc brakes that should provide enough stopping power to bring it safely to a halt. Step inside, and you’ll find functional indicators, lights as well as a horn.
