Dell has just announced several upgrades for its XPS M1710 gaming notebook, including NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX graphics, ability to overclock the Intel Core 2 Duo T7400 (2.16GHz) processor, and XPS LightFX (demonstration after the jump).

The M1710 has always been well know for its light show. It has configurable color lights on the lid, speakers, vents and on the mousepad. Now the lights will pulsate to sound! That’s right, you can play your music like a DJ and have a light show like a disco because the lights will pulse with the music if you choose. Certain game companies will also work with Dell to make game action control pulsing of lights
