Codemasters’ latest DiRT 2 trailer shows why they had to delay the PC version of the game: to add DirectX 11 effects. These include “hardware tessellation, multi-threading and Shader Model 5.0.” Video after the break.

The DirectX 11 effects actually look rather impressive, though I’m not sure they amount to anything that really warranted the game being delayed on the PC.
