DIY Perks Submersible PC Underwater
Inventor Matthew Perks built a submersible PC that still works when fully submerged underwater for his latest project. This isn’t a rugged laptop or desktop computer, but rather a custom system made with copper pipes that double as the PC’s internal cooling system.

Hardware included an NVIDIA RTX 4090 graphics card and an Intel i9-13900K CPU, which meant that the system would naturally run hot. The copper pipes you see are connected to end caps with gaskets to ensure a water tight seal. Now you might be wondering where all the cables go, and the answer to that question would be another copper tube up top that does not get submerged. Thankfully, the submersible PC worked without any issues in a 6.6-foot pond, as the graphics card reached a maximum of 40° – 43° C.
