It’s official, the 2017 Dodge Challenger GT is the first all-wheel drive American Muscle Car. Boasting a 3.5-liter Pentastar V6 producing 305 hp and 268 lb-ft, mated to ZF’s 8-speed automatic transmission, it adopts the same transfer case and front-axle disconnect as the all-wheel drive Charger. “In the cabin, customers will be welcomed with heated and ventilated front seats wrapped in Nappa leather, an 8.4-inch infotainment system and a heated steering wheel. An optional ‘GT Interior’ package is also available for $995 and adds more Nappa leather, alcantara, a performance-focused steering wheel and nine-speaker stereo. Prices for the model start at $34,490 including the $1,095 destination charge, making it cheaper than alternatives such as the Mercedes-Benz C300 4Matic Coupe, Infiniti Q60 and BMW 430i xDrive,” reports Car Scoops.
