Here’s a first: a faucet that also dries your hands. It’s called the Airblade Tap, and it’s James Dyson’s latest invention. Simply place your hands underneath the faucet (infrared detection) and once you’re done washing, move them to the two branches on the side for a 430mph blast of filtered air. According to early testers, “the system is effective, taking about 13-14 seconds to fully dry [their] hands when [they] tested. The jets of air felt familiar when compared to the experience of using one of Dyson’s upright Airblade systems.”
