The Eliminator V2 may look like a crash test vehicle, but this custom kit car by tuner SalvageWon is actually a track monster with parts from several vehicles, including a donor Mazda Miata, in which the engine, driveline and suspension was sourced. To make the swap seamless, SalvageWon welded the remaining chassis pan to the cage, resulting in a turbo-charged 250 horsepower beast that weighs in at a mere 1,650-pounds. “Depending on the donor, SalvageWON confirms that the vehicle should weigh in about 1,650 pounds, that is 1,000 pounds lighter than a current Miata. Tire and wheel packages are available together with the kit, and that is expected how they had the ability to document 1.5 Gs of lateral grip. There is a turborcharged option on the Craigslist for 250 more HP and also has an option for GM LSX drivetrain and engine. The best thing about this is that it is fully legal to race in SCCA/NASA,” reports Top Speed Zone.
