Originally slated for release in 1994-1995 at the price of $200, the SEGA Neptune (above) incorporated both the Genesis/Mega Drive and 32X into one console. Development took longer than initially planned, so the console was scrapped in favor of the SEGA Saturn. Fortunately, an engineer put his skills to use and built the SEGA Neptune V2.
