Some complain that Super Smash Bros. tournament players aren’t the most pleasant to be around, hygiene wise, but that is all about to change with BeeOui’s deodorant controller. Put simply, he took a stick of Old Spice, hollowed it out, disassembled an 8BitDo SN30 Pro controller, and 3D-printed mounting parts.
The circuit board from the SN30 just happened to be the right size for a stick of deodorant, but getting the buttons correctly placed required 1-month of planning. BeeOui had to first create a CAD model, print numerous prototypes, and then begin cutting the cutting process using 3D-printed guidelines. In the end, everything worked out, or so we think. Seeing you take apart that 8bitdo controller at the beginning thinking you were going to use that was painful, those are discontinued! All the modern 8bitdo controllers are just generic colors to avoid copyright issues,” said one commenter.
