We’re glad to report that the rumors of Facebook indexing all your information on Google, due to the new privacy settings, are false. According to Facebook’s Barry Schnitt, the new settings “are an acknowledgment of the way we think the world is going.”
Facebook denied that its new privacy changes mean it will automatically index all your info on Google…if you’re not interested in having people search for your name, you can change your settings to prevent Facebook from indexing your name.
