Dragon Skin

Unlike liquid armor, “Dragon Skin” is a bulletproof vest that’s made from circular discs — in a textile pattern, composed of silicon carbide ceramic matrices and laminates. It’s so strong that even an M67 grenade couldn’t penetrate the material — though heavily damaged the vest.

HydroFlex

Unlike conventional body armor, Hydroflex remains flexible under normal motion, but can become rigid and absorb energy despite being paper-thin. According to the inventor: “liquid is in the fabric by impregnation, hardens on impact, and melts back within time.”
