Taking a minimalist approach to design, Dell’s ultraslim 22-inch LCD sports a transparent frame, with built-in speakers — featuring a 1920 x 1200 native resolution — and measures just 0.5-inches thick. Nokia, on the other hand, shows what could quite possibly be the future of rollable displays, with the 4G. It features a rollable touchscreen that reveals itself at the push of a button. A technology that may be closer to reality is the Flexible OLED. Simply put, these screens are “organic light emitting devices that are built on flexible substrates such as plastic or metallic foil.” (video above)
