Production Tesla Model 3

Tesla co-founder Elon Musk has finally unveiled the first production Model 3 to roll off the company’s assembly line in Freemont, California. This full-electric “mass market” vehicle is set to be available to the public later this month, but only 30 vehicles will reportedly be produced by the end of the month. However, that figure is slated to increased to 20,000 a month by December. “It is not known exactly how many units will initially go to Tesla employees but we know the first 30 examples will be delivered to customers on July 28. A total of 100 customers will then receive their Model 3s in August before production ramps up and deliveries reach 1,500 in September. Ultimately, Tesla hopes to build 500,000 Model 3s annually,” reports Car Scoops.
