You could use a Framework Laptop 16 mainboard to create a tripe-monitor setup, or just use it as is. This modular laptop is easy to repair and upgrade, which means swapping out the GPU independently of the rest of the system should take only a few minutes, thanks to the new Expansion Bay system.
The Framework Laptop 16 features a versatile input system with are hot-swappable Input Modules, making it easy reconfigure at any time. These modules come in three sizes – Small, Medium (Numpad Modules), and Large (Keyboard Modules). Small ones enable color customization, or use them to build functional modules like an LED Matrix or haptic slider. Medium modules include numpads, secondary displays and macro pads, while Large modules offer both regular backlit keyboards as well an RGB backlit version. Pre-orders start Spring 2023, and shipments are expected to begin in late 2023.
