Set for release on November 19, Ghostbusters: Afterlife is the sequel to Ghostbusters (1984) and Ghostbusters II (1989). It was actually screened on August 23, 2021 during the 2021 CinemaCon event in Los Angeles after the delay of its initial theatrical release (June 2021). Seasoned Projections just couldn’t wait any longer, so they decided to create one of the most extravagant Halloween 2021 house projections yet.
Mapping all of the effects to a house of this size can be quite challenging to say the least, especially since music as well as other lighting also need to be synced. To create the show, Seasoned Projections used specialized software that mimics the real environment it is to be projected on, thus allowing it to interact with a projector to show any desired image onto the surface of that object, whether it be a house or even cathedral.
- This model car is a stunning replica of the iconic Ghostbusters car, the ECTO-1, based on the 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor Futura Duplex
- The car features spookily good details: working steering, a trapdoor with a ghost trap, an extending gunner seat & a moving ghost sniffer
- A delight for adult Ghostbusters: Afterlife fans, it includes the Proton Pack, which swivels out of a side panel to trap ghouls and ghosts
Who ya gonna call?! 2021 Halloween Projection Mapping of the Ghostbusters. Ray, Egon, Peter, and Winston save the day yet again. Set to the original Ghostbusters theme with some bad boys music thrown in…they finally get Slimer! Appearances by Vigo, Dana, Demon Dogs, and much more. Celebrate the Ghostbusters prior to the Afterlife movie this fall!,” said Seasoned Projections.
