The immensely popular Humans Of New York (street photography) Facebook page shared the story of Beyonce, a schoolgirl who discussed the challenges faced living with a celebrity name. A slew of comments then appeared from other people named after celebrities as well as other strange things. Beyonce says: “Sometimes I hate my name because it always draws attention to me, and I’m not a very social person. When the teacher started calling attendance, I got really nervous, because every time people learn my name is Beyonce, somebody starts singing ‘Single Ladies.’ And some did, of course.
