Another day, another vehicle recall. This time, GM announced that it will recall up to 1.5-million vehicles that reportedly have a faulty windshield wiper fluid system. It “affects several pickup trucks, sport utility vehicles and passenger car models from the 2006 to 2009 model years.” Approximately 1.4-million vehicles are located in the US and 100,000-plus in Canada / Mexico.

GM plans to disable the heated washer fluid system module that could lead to fires. GM will pay owners and those leasing vehicles $100 since the feature is being disabled.
