Google Veo, an image-to-video and text-to-video AI generator, is now available on Vertex AI in private preview. It’s touted as the first hyperscaler to offer an image-to-video model that unlocks new possibilities for creative expression and streamlining video production workflows.
Put simply, Veo is capable of generating high-quality, HD videos based on text or image prompts in a wide range of cinematic and visual styles with extreme speed, or at least compared to the competition. This AI model has an advanced understanding of natural language and visual semantics, resulting in video that closely aligns to the prompt. To try out Veo, you’ll have to contact your Google Cloud account representative.
