Set to go live tomorrow (August 7), the Gran Turismo 7 update 1.36 adds several new cars, including the GT-R NISMO GT3 from the upcoming film. SIE is running a gift campaign for this vehicle until September 28th and players can get it by just clicking the special panel on the upper-right of the World Map screen.
A new livery that matches the GT-R seen seen in the movie has also been added and can be selected when purchasing the Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 ’18 from Brand Central. Other new vehicles include the 1958 Chevrolet Corvette C1, the 2020 Maserati MC20, a 2021 Toyota Ambulance Himedic, and the 2022 Toyota GR Corolla MORIZO Edition. There are three GT Cafe Extra Menus as well as a ‘Fire Station’ that has been added to the featured Scapes section.

Players can win in-game credits by correctly predicting the winning ‘Manufacturers Cup’ and ‘Nations Cup’ teams at the World Series Showdown. Entries can be submitted from the campaign banner in the top right corner of the Gran Turismo 7 world map screen. 1,000,000 Credits will be awarded for a correct guess, with 2,000,000 Credits awarded for correctly guessing the winners of both tournaments,” said Ken Chan, Senior Product Manager, SIE.
