Porsche Vision GT Gran Turismo 7
Polyphony Digital collaborated with Porsche to design the Porsche Vision GT, and it just debuted in Gran Turismo 7, which was released on March 4, 2022. Power comes from an electric motor fed by a 87 kWh battery that generates 1,274 hp with overboost and launch control, enabling the supercar to hit 62 mph in just 2.1-seconds, while topping out at 217 mph. Step inside, and you’re greeted by a curved hologram display, tailored to the driver, which seemingly floats above the steering wheel.

Aesthetically, the Porsche Vision GT boasts the typical proportions, starting with its sporty height-to-width ratio, an extremely low-set bonnet and very pronounced wings. There are also Porsche Taycan-inspired lights in the front and integrated air intakes, while the rear features a narrow light strip. For those interested in testing out the vehicle, simply fire up Gran Turismo 7, although some of the game’s microtransactions might be a bit pricey.

Porsche Vision GT Gran Turismo 7

The appeal of a Porsche comes from its purist design. And in terms of engineering expertise, both we and Porsche follow the same perfectionist philosophy. We share the same passion for racing and are looking to the future of the car.” In addition to purely design-related themes, there are also new functions that contribute to a strong sports car feeling, with players experiencing haptic feedback via the controller, which mimics the feel of the steering wheel. This fast and direct feedback is reminiscent of a real racing car,” said Kazunori Yamauchi, President, Polyphony Digital.
