Friends Build Town

Let’s face it, no matter how close one group of friends may be, they normally drift apart as life happens, that is unless…you decide to create your own town. After acquiring 10 acres of land in Llano, Texas, four lifelong friends, along with their partners, hired architect Matt Garcia to help them build them a mini town of sorts with maximum eco-efficiency. Each one of these $40,000, 350-square-foot cabins have a bathroom, kitchenette and sleeping area. They also feature slanted roofs with water barrels that can hold up to 5,000-gallons of rainwater.
