Open Glass AI might be useful for those on a budget, but if you want AI smartglasses with an invisible display, there’s this wearable from Halliday. Simply put, each pair comes equipped with a DigiWindow, or a 3.5-inch round display that projects images directly in the wearer’s line of sight.
Why the name? It draws inspiration from Spielberg / Cline’s ‘Ready Player One’ character James Halliday, and they come in matte black or tortoiseshell colors. Unlike other smartglasses, the DigiWindow is invisible to anyone you are conversing with, or at least during the daytime. One caveat: there is no built-in camera, although one could possibly be added later. Available for pre-order now, priced at $369 USD, with shipments expected to begin in late Q1 2025.
